Razer Synapes macros OK to use?

The recommend the Razer Naga on their Japanese site, so if the Naga has the capability to do that as well, then I'm sure that they're fine with it. Recommending a piece of hardware whose software suite can easily do something that would be against the ToS would be... Odd.

The allowed use would probably be that of bindable keys, of course not to legalize a cheating tool.

The against the TOS is subjective to me. You can' t use another piece of software for automation, but that means I could use a mechanical device pressing keyboard buttons as its not a 'third party software', which is the same and undetectable.

TOS specify both software and hardware.


If you repeat the same action over and over, that's botting.
What the guy does in the thread you linked looks legit since it looks like a crafter macroing its steps, but still borderline.

However I think anything that goes beyond the software/game functions is not allowed, like could you gather with a macro? If not then you shouldn't.
I would send a ticket if you wanna be sure.
