Accuracy Cap for Turn 5?

Oh for sure I totally agree. We did the test over the entire raid 1-5. That's about 3-hrs of data of course 40mins - 1 hr is turn 1 - 4 and 5 well lol we just keep loosing. So basically 2 hrs of fighting in turn 5. I will get the guy to run it again on Monday when we raid again.

The accuracy cap rises the furthur you progress in coil. the 481/2 I mentioned before is for turn 5 which is why we call it accuracy cap because it's the highest accuracy requirement. Turns 1-4 require much less accuracy to be at 100%. I forgot the numbers exactly because after we raised our accuracy to accomodate for the new turn there was little point to lower it for previously conquered turns as we would need to raise it for the next part of the same raid.

I have missed Twintania with 472 ACC exactly. I haven't missed yet with 481 after uncountable attempts.

Well the person w/ the 472 acc was a dps. He was hitting everything including TT. 100% connect. I would like to know for sure so if any of you run a parse and find out different please advise. We wont get to run another test until Monday.

Physical DPS or Caster DPS? It's my understanding that the acc cap is lower for casters. . .

482 is the number I always hear for melee.

I've read that it's 482 for tanks (not sure if it is the same for melee DPS - DRG and MNK - however...)

You should not be considering getting Valor feet over Allagan for any reason but vanity.

There are two nearly identical best in slot sets. One involves Valor hands and valor feet, the other involves Allagan hands and Allagan feet. The difference is a trade-off between a few CRIT and a few DET. Parry remains the same at 617, and accuracy remains the same at 484.

You can use whatever combination you prefer the look of to be honest.

On topic: I MT Twin and in my current gear accuracy is at 473. I still miss. I believe the cap is 481 or 482.

Just to update, my raid group unfortunately only got about 20 minutes worth of attempts in tonight due to the early maintenance. But with 477 accuracy I didn't notice any misses on Twintania. Hopefully we'll get at least a full hour, maybe 2 tomorrow. I'll update again then.

Unrelated I felt like I was taking more damage than ever... not sure why.

Thanks for the update. It's possible that the new equip might have made you lose a good chunk of par or something or just plain rng. I have had rng screw me over in the past like when ADS Crit me 6 times back to back. I will also post my findings after our raid Monday so Tuesday will probably be the day I post the info. I will get the acc of everyone in our group and report back who missed if any miss. That way we can get a little glimpse into everyone's acc cap.

More attempts last night (for about an hour), again I noticed no misses on Twintania with 477 Accuracy.
