well there are 4 bugs from stage 3 then there are 6 bugs from stage 5 u feed 4 of those to the second dreadnought then save two and then the last two come from the last stage.

Unless I smoke crack during turn 4, which is possible, I'm pretty sure 4 bugs spawn with the first DK, followed by 4 more bugs with 2 rooks (unless you're calling rooks bugs) before the 2nd DK, and then 2 more bugs with the 3rd DK, for a grand total of 10 bugs that spawn during the actual encounter. You'd need to hold a few of the initial bugs that spawn with the event.
