Black Mage AF is great. What's wrong with it? Nobody here has actually outlined a reason for why it's bad, just stating it as if we already know it is.

Also, it's "due respect", as in the respect which someone is owed.

idk, I totally refused to buy the DL tanking body for weeks for my pld, so I instead saved up and bought the AF2 body. No way in hell am I wearing that trashcan. My character is far too pretty.

My problem with it is the colour. I don't know how the Relic one looks, but the AF is all black, not iconic at all.

I have less issues regarding this if you're currently clearing content with the gear you have and there's a higher upgrade you can save for.

But if you absolutely refuse to get the best gear because of looks, that's where you've lost me.

Opinion..fact..truth..preferences won't change the fact that Relic AF looks like AF quest gear which yells out "lazy"...and still does not make it look any less ugly that what it is.

Most MMOs that add glow to weapons and armor to signify it being "awesome" yells lazy too using your logic. I'm guessing you never played FFXI or any other FF game where pretty much the iconic armor is almost always the same in design so you know someone is (insert Job) but generally end up being different colors throughout the years.

I like the BLM AF. In fact, I like them all, though some more than others.

While I think little of the faux-leather BLM AF body and hat, the relic/af+1 w/e you wish to call the myth version of the body and chest are far nicer (and of course hearken back to the "classic" blm look a bit more).

Of course I love my wyrm mail more though..
