Quick Question: Turn 5 Hitcap?

Anyone know what the accuracy cap for melee is on Turn 5?

From what I've read it's 472 for everything below turn 4, but it's raised in turn 5, something over 480 was was I heard.

Nay, Turn 4 and 5 are equal in Acc cap as far as I'm aware.

Hmm... if that's the case then that makes my gear decisions much easier. Not that I don't believe you, but if anyone else can back this up it would be appreciated.

This is the root of my inquiry, asked in the tank threads but nobody has replied yet.

I ask because the allagan pants dropped tonight and I WAS saving for valor, but it seems like a waste to get those now (maybe way later). But to use them, I need to gain some accuracy.

If I replace my allagan boots with valor, I'd be at 483 acc, and with HQ deviled eggs I'd be at 493. Well over the cap, but I'd gain no VIT.

On the other hand, I could get my valor helm and gain 9 vit, but this would drop me to 478 acc with hq deviled eggs.

If I got the helm, next week I'd be able to get the ring which would bring that 478 acc up to 483 with food.

So anyway, just trying to figure out what the actual hitcap is before making this decision.

We had the same discussion a couple days ago. If the cap was 472 or 482. So one of our members ran a parse and it was 100% hit @ 472. This was only for one coil run and we did not further testing.
