You mean the fact that the main story quests look like they are on fire instead of the normal teardrop isn't obvious enough?
Please note the bolded part below.
Oh, you got me... and so they are adding a feature because people are too lazy to click the duty list and open their journal. Still amounts to time wasted on frivolous modifications. I'm sorry, but there are more important issues such as:
1) Not knowing if items in your chest are no longer of use or still part of a gear set. .
2) Not just one extra click, but 6 or 7 to repair all your gear because there isn't a "Repair All" and you have to select the slot
3) No auto dismount when you try to go into a city or speak to an NPC
4) Inn room armoire not working. Only takes red, blue, and green swimwear but not striped. Takes pumpkin head but not ghost costume.
5) RMT shout bots... they say it's being worked but it should be as simple as a GM going into town and creating his own blacklist.
6) More icons for macros. Heck, not even all the icons for all the skills are included as options.
I can add more, but I think you get the idea.

They are already addressing the first one next patch, and the patch will also be overhauling the repair and materia menus (thankfully).Oh, you got me... and so they are adding a feature because people are too lazy to click the duty list and open their journal. I'd imagine the reason for not having the auto-dismount is so you don't accidentally misclick when you have a paid rental chocobo, but it would be nice if it was at least an option.
The items you mentioned that the armoire will take is because they already existed in 1.0 and had that functionality already available to them and the rest haven't been added to it yet, for whatever reason.
I highly doubt changing the look of an icon (to an icon that's already in-game, mind you, so they won't even have to waste 30 minutes drawing it again) will take up much development time at all. It may not be as important to you as the issues you listed above, but it must be to some people, otherwise they wouldn't be adding it.Oh, you got me... and so they are adding a feature because people are too lazy to click the duty list and open their journal.
