    Ow, you're absolutely right. I am posting with my smartphone (which is quite a hassle, but I don't carry token around 24/7 (^_^ ) ). That particular fragment was missing parentheses. This will make more sense:
    "farm AK gear (and gather tomes for Darklight) for primal weapon farming"

    Darklight is not needed for both Ifrit or Garuda, but it help with Titan and you need to beat Titan at least once in order to get your Relic weapon. Just to be clear on this. The gear progression I mentioned earlier was meant as "guideline", not a requirement.
