More voice acting please!

The english VO is god awful.

I thought the French VO was great. I'm far from fluent but I really prefer it over English or Japanese. Also, German was as bad as the English VO.

Please NO, voice acting in this game is horrendous, I turned all voices off because of it. Would rather just read.

It seems odd there was no consistency for the voice acting. Some cut scenes would have it some would not. I guess I am an all or nothing kind of guy and would have preferred one extreme or the other. But having started playing FF since version 1, I expected there would be a lot of reading, and I don't mind that, as I can usually out pace the voice acting anyway.

Y'shtola would sound sexy if her VA wasn't reading from a script. Everything sounds incredibly forced.

I just dont really understand how they can fail SO HARD on VA....I mean there are some really good enlish anime stars that could have voiced any of the main characters (ghost in shell, Death Note Trigun(lol a few characters) but you get my drift. Not only this but games like KH and even ff13 had good voices minus one or two people. I just wonder do they have a peer review system cause the va is truly horrible.

FF13 did have some really good VA. I have to say that was one of my faves in the franchise, only gripe is how linear it was. Visual effects were interesting too.

Is it just me or did they change the voice actors from 1.0 for some of the characters? At least I remember them to be a lot less awful. I think after the third story cutscene I switched over to japanese. Even though I can't speak the language the emotion in most of the voices at least line up with what is written.

Let me tell you guys something. I agree some of the voice acting is a little poor.
Expecially in Praethorium the sound levels need adjusting. Also the voice for Cid
really just doesn't seem right for me. He should sound more... rugged.

Also... some of the "longer" dialogue gets pretty boring.
I defintely agree that it needs work, but I really would love to see more voice acting
and BETTER voice acting. I feel it would attract more players.
