IS it just me... or is FFXIV boring?

I had to individually click through each creation, I couldn't just say "create number X of said item;" which, might be something I am missing, and I'm open to the help. It was extremely tedious, and took me away from actually doing something in the world.

Did you know there is a "Quick Synthesis" where you can choose the quantity of item that you want to craft and then your character just goes auto-nuts on it. You get less exp per item but you can literally hit the auto craft for a stack of 99 and walk away from the computer. I've gotten many levels this way.

Quick synthesis is useful, but less so if you haven't leveled enough crafting classes to bypass the trickiness that you can run into when trying to HQ a finished product from NQ materials.
