IS it just me... or is FFXIV boring?

I find some parts a little stale, leveling, lack of direct quests, and a few other minor details but it is a brand new MMO it has plenty of potential and much time to grow like WoW and other larger mmo games have. For me it's always been the community that ties me to an MMO versus the actual game itself. I prefer playing a crappy game(Not that ff14 is ugly :P ) with a bunch of my crazy friends over a beautiful game alone. I played WoW for over 5+ years and what finally cut it off for me was the group of friends I used to play with broke apart and moved on to other things in their lives. I think if we give this game time it'll be awesome. Until then I'm going to go fish and chat with friends via LinkShell :P

the game is not brand new, its 3 years old, already failed once and is on its way to its second failure!! trust me 2.1 isnt going to save this game, the content is obsolete!

edit: oh and im not willing to pay a sub for a ff14 chat room!

Maybe not in terms of some of the assets used but if you have ever worked in gamedevelopement/cg/programming etc. you'd know how wrong your statement is. This game is new and what they did in the short time available is more than impressive. (No matter if you like the content or not)

nope i have done all the content currently available to me, redoing it over and over again just for the sake of being loyal to this game is not more content!

oh and before the flames start about me not finishing coil, cant help the fact se gimped me from the get go. anyways really do not need to explain myself to you guys. sub is cancelled se lost another account have fun in the obsolete crystal tower!

I can't imagine many people really enjoy FATE grinding another job to then go through the whole grind again at the end. I don't get it.

Running the same content over again - except this time with much less to do with no story or side quests - is not additional content.

We need those casual raids and PvP.

I've never played an mmo without PvP and really starting to get the itch. Trying not to go back to GW2 because I hate hopping but it's itchy..
