Go into Item > Dishes and you'll exactly how much better food was with the same durations. They need to redo the stats and % on some of the foods - I know he wants to follow certain MMO's design through and through but the food system in Xi and Xiv 1.x were actually..the most useful out of all MMOs I've played.

To be honest it would be better if they brought back 1.x recipes - As in allow us to convert fish into shards through alchemy and create crystals/clusters.
