

I don't see what the problem is with asking. Not demanding. And if said group says no thanks, that should be the end. But there is nothing wrong with asking to tag along with anything. Assuming you are geared enough in the first place. ie no AF in coil plz, etc.Yes, I was calling him out. Because his opinion is that they should change their standards because they are, in his opinion, too high. However, I never said that his gear was sub-par or anything to that effect.
My point is, it is wrong to ask people to change their standards simply because they don't match up with your own.
Ya, that is totally fine. However, his original statement was that if he sees someone calling for standards above his own, he is going to ask them to lower theirs (to more fit his own). This is selfish and wrong. It is the same mentality of "I don't like this TV program so I'm going to write a letter to the station and ask them to stop playing it" as opposed to changing the channel.
