Hes on 331.65 it shows beside the graphics card in his post (the last 5 numbers)have you tweaked the clocks (overclocked)? If so, have you tried notching them back a bit (might be a bit too aggressive)?
Also, have you set everything to application control in the driver so that you don't have any potential weirdness there?
What package are you running? Not the 9.xx.xxxx.xxxx version of that individual file, but the nVidia Geforce version number (3xx.xx numbering system). Can get it from the nVidia control panel by clicking the Help menu up top, then selecting the System Info.
Perhaps someone can give a recommendation for a better driver to try. Seem to recall there was a recent beta that fixed a lot of problems for people--was up in the 320's or something. (I haven't needed to try different drivers yet in my laptop--the stock Asus ones seem to be working OK).
