Putting the whole NORTH AMERICAN and EUROPE's connection through a single datacenter, no matter how much money you throw in is not gonna fix lag problem, people are going to get lag issues.

Please fire whoever responsible for setting up your network and hire a qualified person to do the job.

the problem with that request is SE's inter connectivity requirement between the data centers.

They've already had to address issues with background connections between Canada and Japan a few times. If they break it out even further, then it compounds this instability even further. Alternatively they might be able to restrict DF to even smaller regions, but then you open a whole other can of worms that SE is very reluctant to get into---regional isolation. It was a VERY big step for them just to split off the JP region like they did.

Seriously.. who's idea was it in the first place to put all the servers in a single location. This lag issue would never have even become an issue had players been able to not only choose a server location closer to them, but move to another if they experienced lag. It also would relieve a lot of congestion on those Cogneto, and TATA lines. Everyone would have been happy.
