As a tank, the biggest problem I have is impatience. I do not generally speed run. I'll skip mobs if they can be skipped and such, but blech, I haven't speed ran before and I don't want to learn how to do it with a group of randos. I think the reason people believe tanks tend to be the more rude and mean players are because we tanks put up with so much abuse and just general putdowns ('oh you pulled that mob? lol' 'why would you even pull that there, f***christ'), some people just break and project all that back on whoever was unlucky enough to group with em at that time.

I know I made a mistake before in a df group when I let a summoner get eaten by a dullahan she accidently aggroed because I thought she was being impatient and running ahead and pulling. Didn't say anything, just pointedly watched her die while killing the other dullahan, then proceeded to solo the other one down. I apologized when she said something like 'you can still tank even if I make a mistake, can't you?' and I realized she really did just make a mistake, and I felt bad. Sometimes, its just not as simple as one group of players being D***wraiths.

Whenever I tank a speedrun, nowadays, I'll tell people that it may take me some time to get used to how much damage and healing they're capable of doing, what Limitbreaks are available, and what kind of CC they're capable of. Most parties accept this, but a few times I've simply had to jump ship and /tell the next party leader desperate for a tank.

    Pure awesome.

OT: DF is one thing, but expectations in shout groups are different and subject to whomever is creating them. I may call you out for being ridiculous, but you can still run sub 50 content in relic if you want.

Also, I don't mind if a tank or healer leaves group. I have trio'd and duo'd the lower half of the dungeons, And I am sure it can be done for most if not all dungeons. Besides, it's actually fun and challenging at that point. I miss my challenges in MMO's.
