Thing is ID is such a small boost in the first place. It would have to be some extreme DPS race with careless TP for me to consider using it. A ~1% DPS increase is just not worth that kind of TP hit, IMO.

I Parsed two AK runs last night. One with a relic +1 brd full DL with some i90 and a Relic +1 Blm with full dl = some I90. We parsed nearly dead even with me slightly edging them out by literally under 1000 dmg. 1000 dmg out of a total of 500,000+ dmg total. Im in full DL w/ 2i90 pieces and just Relic weapon I dont even have B4B yet lol. (lving LNC now ugh)
Only thing I could see that we maybe need to do increase our endgame utility is an increased GL duration or only losing one stack at a time of GL, instead of it all.
also for everyone whining about "Monk can't find party /cry /cry" Have you never played FFxi? It's not illegal for you to... wait for it... wait for it... *Gasp!*... start your own party? Fun! Excitement! you can have this!
"They bud me take my place among them. In the halls of Valhalla. Where the brave may live forever..."
What are we really talking about here?
Quick question, what does intelligence for enemies do? From my understanding for thaum's and blm's I understand it effects their magic attack power, but if you lower an enemy's intelligence does that increase the Dmg thaum's and blm's will do?
The reason I ask is because I have always assumed the same way drg's get a piercing bonus that effects bards, maybe our dragon kick can help out blm's as well as smn's Just thought about bringing this up as a lot of ppl are sayin we don't have enough utility.
It should reduce their magic damage. I mentioned this sometime before, but I don't think anyone's sure how well it works.Quick question, what does intelligence for enemies do? Such as, if it affects bosses and does that mean all their magic attacks are reduced.
That would be a huge boon to monk utility, that we already have. If it works.
I think most people forget it exists.
EDIT:
I think monk utility might be centered around healing/damage reduction since we have DK and Mantra already.
That seems to be the design intention, to me.
One-ilm punch should be mentioned, since it follows that intention. It just finds no use in the current content.
Arm of the Destroyer is also a non-cd silencer. For all its faults, it's unique in that sense.
Perhaps we're anti-magic/healing based? We can build on that as we go.

Lowering the intelligence of a target lowers their magical damage.
Lowering the strength lowers physcal damage.
Following up - I wonder if the DK debuff stacks with Virus.
That would make a 25% magic damage reduction.

The main thing I'd really like as a Monk especially in Coil is an ability that reduces agro. I am nearly always at risk of stripping agro away if I am going at full steam. Maybe One Ilm Punch could reduce threat?
Anything else is just wishful thinking. I think we're pretty top tier otherwise.
People would much rather bring a Monk into Coil than a DRG. Drgs have very good burst damage but fall off hard after that.
DRG as a job is pure garbage IMHO, on the other hand MNKs are generally way better. Skills plays a big part in it, and most DRG players are below average skill wise (sometimes it is even low IQ issues).
