Sorry your group is having problems with it, but we never knew about the tank in the conflag and we have been 1 tanking this through DS with conflags. I have 6.4k HP and I single tank Twintania while our other tank just worries about the adds. So while you are saying to do it legit you have to tank swap I just wanted to let you know that is very much a false statement!

Whether or not Phase 2 is trivial isn't the heart of the dissenting argument, and I think this line of logic needs to finish dying. There is a very specific reason they are executing this encounter this way and you can find BG guild members alluding it it on this and other forums, but they've been very clear that there won't be an official explanation until after the developers weigh in.
From the reddit thread :Emphasis mine. There's more at play here but we won't know until they go into it. I think the point is that even if it is just a way to skip a trivial phase there's questionable behavior at play, and a lot of us thought we'd see a kill video that managed the mechanic "normally" be it rotating cooldowns on the main tank, or utilizing tank swaps, or whatever. Instead, this is the exact same mechanic that caused the developers to shut the fight down for an entire week, minus the tank logging out afterwards. Seeing the touted "World First 100% Legit Kill" using this exact same strategy is raising a lot of eyebrows but really the only people who can give this the green/red light is Square Enix.we do what we do to mitigate damage based on the rotation and timing we have her in at that phase of the fight, which has a direct impact in other phases.
Personally speaking, it's not helping BG any that their official stance has shifted slowly in the last 24 hours from "100% Absolutely positively working as intended" to "maybe just a creative use of game mechanics" to "we're awaiting official response and will adjust as necessary" because to me that raises doubts that they truly believed this was ever actually intended boss behavior in the first place. Again, the only entity who can confirm anything is Square Enix. I remain skeptical but hopeful that this will yield a positive result for everyone.

I know Phase 2 isn't that difficult once you get the hang of it but that just sounds unnecessarily risky. Death Sentence can hit for 5k+ unblocked and that's with Shield Oath up.
But I guess if your healers are fine with it....
Their dps does seem way slower than the group I go with, we use brd/smn/smn/blm, none of which with more than 3 coil drops too lol, so extra dps on conflags is probably the main reason. But hey they beat the enrage by 1-2s at the end there so it was enough dps. Saving healer mana is kinda pointless there since one or both healers are likely going to die during twister phase at some point anyways...That is why that phase is hard, having the DPS to kill the conflags and keep the tank up. They are negating every single aspect of this phase. My guess is they either have tank deaths or don't have the DPS to kill the conflags, so they chose to exploit.
Erm I'm OT, sorry that might've been unclear in hind-sight.
Se didn't intend paladin tanks to survive through debuffs so any kills without two warriors is an exploit
Long time no see! Big grats on the win, I know how much it means to you. I think you'll probably beat me to full Exploration Achievements this time round too... XDIncorrect. My first death was because I had been trying a new twister dodge method over the previous few attempts, but it was inconsistent. I gave up after that and returned to my normal dodge method and dodged the next two in a row easily. The fourth twister popped me because I made an error. The end.
No idea what you guys are doing but, yes, it is quite possible to heal the tank through the healing debuff. Not even close to hard. We've been doing so for weeks. Just saying. (No, we're not being inefficient, if that's what you're intending to say. And yes, we do tank swop at some point.)Doing that phase legit, you have to tank swap because of the healing debuff and the fact that she is doing more dmg and hitting faster with one of the link gone. Tanks can easily get gibbed from a DS + quick melee attack that happens, it's happened to us many times, there is no way to heal the tank quick enough sometimes and get him up quickly with the debuff.
Other than that, you're nitpicking at the easiest phase in the entire fight, which most of us can do with our eyes closed by now. /shrug Just saying.
Edit: P.S. That's a whole lot of people for you to quote...

Question if someone doesn't mind answering. What exactly do those blue circles that fall on the ground do? In the video, I saw people enter them occasionally (everyone did at one point during a phase transition, not sure why though). And during the last part of the fight, a purple "Neurolink" debuff/buff appeared on people randomly, but I'm not sure if it actually did anything. What does that do exactly? Like the WHM in the video kept getting that purple Neurolink thing on them in the last 20% of the fight, but nothing ever happened to her afaik. Thanks.
EDIT: Watching more closely, I see an orb appearing when that one purple thing appears on someone, but the offtank is soaking the damage as soon as it spawns, I think?
