People on Siren tend to be very smug so, if you don't shout relic or relic + 1 / Geared; it's more than likely that you won't get a group at all, actually. So if one DPS shouts with a lot of information on him/herself - he has a higher chance to get an invite compared to a "dps lfg plz inv" shout.
True, Relic and Full DL is not neccessary, but it is an advantage... and if a group is looking for a DPS they either take friends/FC-members... or if they take strangers, they pick one that has a high chance of being a well equipped and experienced player if they have a choice... and they usually do.
I guess it varies by server but, that's my experience thus far.

Even if I was forming a normal run of a dungeon, if I see someone advertise they have a relic I'm more likely to take them since it means they have experience and gear necessary to do the dungeon smoothly, as opposed to picking up a newbie w/ a ilevel 50 weapon on duty finder.

It's almost getting to where most people has it or close to it. I'm not trying to start an argument at all. I also understand someone's gonna pic someone shouting relic over not. I'm just wondering if this is going to be a trend that we see for the rest of this games life...having to shout your gear while lfg or do you think when the gear requirements for dungeons are put in place it will stop? It doesn't make me mad or anything people do it esp since I'm a Titan kill away from having my own, it just seems like that's a lot of information to sift through when /sh text is usually flowing pretty fast in mor dhona.
There's got to be a better way? Maybe put an "R" in front of job? Like RBLM or +1BLM? If your have your relic or +1 can't we assume you already have full DL or close?
/sh Relic +1 BLM LFG WPSR or AKSR full DL
/sh +1BLM LFG WP or AK sr
And
/sh RBLM LFG etc
Which would you prefer? This isn't even taking into account you have myth gear.
Which is sad, since WP drops Ilvl 55 gear and was designed for people in AF to gear up with it then tackle AK then tackle end-game. You can clear both dungeons without being "decked out."
Yes but if you're wearing that ilvl 55 gear I guarentee you won't get the 10 minute runs people want

No one is stopping you from running a WP in ilvl 55 or hell even AF gear, you just have to make a group and get people willing to go in your run with that kind of gear, which will be similarly geared people, you are bound to wipe/be slow but thats what you expect. Don't expect to put 0 effort into your gear and get a SR with relic geared people.

I need something like 90 WP's for DL and relic on my next 2 50's and Im prepping for them in advance.
With a relic/DL group I can run WP in 15 minutes. With a normal group it can take 40 minutes.
90 * 15 = 1350 = 22.5 Hours = .93 Days
90 * 40 = 3600 = 60 Hours = 2.5 Days
Would you want to run WP for 2.5 Days Straight non stop back to back, or less than 1 Day?
Realistically it would be two weeks of 4 or 5 runs a day. With bad groups though it could be 4 weeks of 4 or 5 runs a day.

Full Darklight Gear and Relic on one job is approximately 50 WP runs to get enough myth. You are bleeding gear? From where? WP and AK gear? WP and AK gear is not acceptable gear for BCB. People farm DL so they can go to BCB and be as geared as they possibly can be because BCB is hard.
Two tanks are shouting for a group:
(Paladin) (Looking for Group) (Amdapor Keep) Please Invite
(Paladin) Full DL Relic +1 (Looking for Group) (Amdapor Keep)
You're at 3/4 and need a tank, which one are you gonna reply to?
