The hatred and jelly in this thread are so sad. Can people stop complaining about everything for one second and give those guys some credit for their incredible play?
Congratz BG!!! Awesome fight![]()
Amazing job BG. The amount of skill, strategy, and perfect position that went into this strategy is so beast. The perfect positioning of the party split in two with the main tank to be positioned so everyone is in side of sacred soil. The clever use of the mechanic conflag were the main tank jumps into conflag so healers can dps conflag also. The timing if i am not mistaken on death sentence so you can avoid it most of the time. The clever use of stacking on the wall to dodge the dive bombs. The mini circles in order to dodge twister. The stun lock/heavy of the adds. The position of all three drops of twintania. The spacing of the members within the group to make sure multiple abilities didn't hit one another. The precise actions it took to complete the fight. I write this all out not to basically be all over bg, but to note the extraordinary minds that put all of this strategy together. Wither it was a group effort or someone being the main strategist. Mad props and Mad respect.
You do know that being legacy at most gave them a 2-3 days advantage, right? They still had to do every mandatory quest to unlock it (and just doing the main storyline quests and a few sidequests already means 70%~ish of your first 1-50 level, so it was nearly the same work that a new char would have to do anyways, give or take 1-4 hour of extra fate grinding) and still had to farm some darklight as not every piece was available on 1.0, and that's assuming every party member already had all the "old" darklight they needed. Any of the other ultra HC FCs certainly reached them gear wise very quickly after release, even on new servers.
Legacy players had all jobs to 50 and relics available at august 24. Earliest relic I can find for non-legacy is September 3. That's almost 2 weeks just to get caught up on the relic instead of being able to spend it in coil. And that's without even considering the advantages of having every job available at 50.You do know that being legacy at most gave them a 2-3 days advantage, right? Legacy and non-legacy are two completely different races.
LMAO!!! Now we are gonna see shouts for Coils 5 asking for gamepad players xD, as I see those circles done quite easy with a Gamepad analog thumbstick but quite unreliable with a keyboard. They run in small circles as soon as Twintania starts casting.
It's hilarious, because that's exactly what a lot of random people throwing out ideas said should be tried, but they always got shouted down because, "Of course we would try that! Don't be stupid! You shouldn't even be in this discussion!"
So, looks like all of those "elite" FCs, the ones who swore it was bugged because they "tried everything", really just didn't try everything. Who'da thought?
Legacy members had to complete the exact same quests to get access to coil than non-legacy members (main story and hard primals). They also had to do the same AK farming for +1 relics and tomes have the same weekly cap for both legacy and non-legacy. The only real difference is that Legacy members had certain jobs at 50 already during early access and launch, and everyone knows how very long it takes to level a job in this game. Oh and they may have had some darklight gear, but that doesn't really make a difference when they had to get the iLevel 90 stuff for turn 5. There are both legacy and new players doing turn 5, in same groups too.Legacy players had all jobs to 50 and relics available at august 24. Earliest relic I can find for non-legacy is September 3. The whole Relic Questline can be done in a single sitting if you know the mechanics, so I don't see the fuss about it. What really takes time is Farm Darklight (Boring) and I can tell you for sure that very few people had Darklight let alone a full set as it had a extremely low droprate and RNG.Legacy players had all jobs to 50 and relics available at august 24. If it were known that Twisters are placed tangentially to your movement path, then it would only be logical to assume that moving in a circle would avoid them. I'm sure people have tried it before, but they just probably didn't get the timing down. Congrats BG.
