    Monk- general discussion and feedback

    Greetings. After some discussion of monk's skills and mechanics I want to try to make a summory. I hope, that other monk_players and then developers will pay their attension to this thread:
    1) Increase duration of GS up to 20+ seconds or make fading of each stack 1by1 but not all stacks
    2) Increase duration of TwSn buff up to 15+ seconds
    3) DEcrease duration of Perfect Balance CD till 60- seconds
    4) DEcrease duration of Shoulder Tackle CD till 60- seconds
    5) REmove AotD out from rotation and increase CD up to 25-30 seconds
    6) DEcrease duration of Howling Fist CD till 5-7 seconds and decrease damage till 130-140
    7) Greatly change skill ONE IIm punch because it is a fully USELESS skill

    heres mine :

    i think that they ll have to :

    1) change the way on how GL works , for me , losing more than 15 sec to build gl3 at the beginning or if u lose while having a dps <<<< others is totally a wrong idea , because even if we starts with gl3 we have'nt a dps equal or > than other DDs and then have GL3 without stacking twice or just make our dps = to the other DD without gl and > than the others with the gl3 .

    2) Change on how our silence AoD works , and put it out of GCD without any cycle to activate its effect like BRDs by increasing TP consumption or cooldown. because beeing a silence MnK involve an hight reduction of our DPS . nowadays u only see teams with 2 BRD in coil groups because of that reason ....

    3) reduce the Shoulder tacle cooldown , i dont why they put way more teleportations skill to DRG but one with a huge cooldown on MnKs , even if we have a lower range OR icrease by lot our movement speed by fist of the wind .... that to prevent any gl loss.

    4) reduce the cooldown of invigorate because in long fight we cannot use our best rotation and our dps to it's fullest cause of our TP loss.

    5) Increase the Rockbreaker damage because we have low AOE DAMAGE (WITHOUT Perfect Balance ) , (mnks aren't welcome in WP Speedruns due to that u.u, but still when i , myself make a group , with good players , am able to clear it in less than 15 min (with PLD /WHM /BLM) OR Reduce Perfect Balance Cooldown to one minute against three .

    6) increase our usefullness in dungeons by putting any skills or wathever ... because the only reason that they'll take us is for our LB -_- yay , drg is also here for that ...

    I think that s the only things they have to do to CORRECT the classes Balance in that game ..... it's the first game i play where mastering the hardest gameplay is totaly UNGRATEFULL , and that more when i compare our dps to the others .....

    actually the mnk are the class the worst picked for coil u.u .

    Better aoe would be great. Monks are currently a big NO for WP.

    One ilm is indeed terrible and even more so due to the high tp cost.

    To add to this though it does really suck losing all three stacks every time a boss jumps or something. Having them decay one at a time would be really great. Also, perfect balance isn't what I'd call a 3 minute cooldown. 60 seconds would be plenty.

    Do you know what would make One Ilm punch usefull?
    Make it able to remove "steel scales" from the freakin Caduceus
    Everyone would pick a monk for Binding Coil if the skill actually removed one buff out of a monster.
    I know that it would break the fight mechanic, but still you should be able to remove buffs from monsters with it...

    Or change the skill completely.

    GL timers should be better.
    Reduce Shoulder tackle cooldown by a lot AND give us a disengage OR make fists of wind triple our speed or something at the cost of MP in a fight like it was in version 1.0
