    And that's NOT a problem with players. It's a problem with the design of the fight. All he does is fire off one-shot kills over and over, and the slightest screw up or lag will leave someone dead. On top of that, both the heart phase and the tumults are a big gear check. Either all 8 members of your team are very well equipped, or it's not happening.

    Finally is the class requirements. You need a paladin tanking and one of the healers to be a WHM. Taking a warrior in at all is gimping your team. Taking two SCH for healing is gimping your team, because their absorb buff doesn't stack. If you don't go in the fight with a Paladin and WHM, you are already putting your group into the ballpark of "this might not be possible".

    No matter how I look at it, the Titan fight is a messy design and needs a big polishing pass from the developers.
    5 stacks of Weight forming a fat corridor on one character is messy. The ground strip attack going off right before bombs and its smoke effect making it impossible to see when the bombs go off in p5 is messy. The limited camera zoom making it where I--a healer--have limited view of everything that's going on (even though it's my job to see the whole thing at all times)--is messy. Casting the pound and being triggered for the massive AOE during is messy. This fight, to some degree, is RNG.

    Personally I found healing Titan easier than DPS'ing it.

    Just learn the pattern a little better and prepare for things rather than react to them and you'll be golden. Plumes coming? Make sure you'll have somewhere safe to run and that you're not boxing someone in. Bombs coming? Look to see which order they fall in. Everything is 10 times easier when you can prepare for it because you know the pattern.

    The first bomb or set of bombs in phase 5 goes off right as Titan pounds the ground for landslide. I actually like bombs in phase 5 more because I know exactly when they're going to go off.

    I guess I haven't gotten there enough to notice. I got maimed once because I ran too slow b/c his landslide effect distorted my ability to see the middle row's explosion. But, if it's consistent like this, then...

    The issue I see why this happen is that the first 4 stages of the fight is within 100% to 50% of Titan's HP.

    we hit each stage every 10% during his first 50% of his HP and once we hit 50% HP it is basically a survive until Titan is down.

    What they should have done is properly separate each stage within the 100% HP range instead of making all 4 stages only cover 50% of his HP and then the remaining 50% is just a survive until hit 0% fight.

    each Stage should have been separated between every 20% of Titans HP in Hard Mode so each Stage can be covered through out the Titan HM fight. This makes the need to survive longer more important since the final stage won't happen until the last 20%.
