Why do we have to go and to this every time there a update? i download each update in about 10-15min right when it goes live am downloading it.

We have this discussion every...single...time...there's a patch, and sometimes even between the patches. Search is a wonderful invention, my friend.

They don't have instructions for FFXIV, but you can follow the steps for FFXI and just replace the ports they use with the ones mentioned earlier.
