Tank HP Requirements For Endgame DF Content

Lol. Totally cleared WP first try with AF gear, and white everything else. Nobody in my DF group was much better, yet we cleared it in 35min no wipes. All I did was make sure to have a CD up for everybody's grudge, and healer was on top of it, had a cure 2 everytime almost the same time the damage did. L2P imo.

man soo many haters, if you have less HP you are bound to wipe, plain and simple. there is no such thing as easy garuda clears in the 4ks, AK and WP are debatable but if you have horrible pugs you need my figures to effectively carry. Garuda is barely PUGable, most DF groups wipe three times at least. and obviously I feel DF Titan is out of the question right now, a more honest figure is 7k with an FC, or High 6K.

How are we hating? We're simply telling you the facts. The numbers you puting out seem only to apply to WAR, and even then they're kind of pushing it as I've only seen a VIT WAR break 7.5k, and lets be honest an all VIT WAR is kinda pointless. The only way a PLD could come close to those numbers are if they were decked out in AF+1 (ilvl90) gear. If your so called "guide" does apply to PLD then as I stated earlier you're stating that you don't party with PLDs... which is fine that is your preference just get your facts straight.

Your refusal to party with PLDs or tanks that you deem inferior is as bad as a tank that doesn't want to party with a healer that doesn't have "Swift Cast" Should you have it? Yes. Do you need it? No.

just did 3 WPs, all tanks had 5.5k+ obviously 4.6k isn't asking much. 3 pieces of DL should get u there easily, stop being lazy and defending the need to do WP with full AF1.

i have main tanked garuda hm with under 5k hp pug group won first try. easy kills? that's based on your group not my hp if they can't handle moving the adds properly and get double or triple aoe'd they will die no matter the hp, if the red add doesn't die it will aoe and basically kill everyone.

thats nice because i pug titan w/ scrubby plds w/ 4.8k hp just fine on an almost daily basis and win just fine. Sounds to me like yer duh.

This actually made me laugh. Beyond this being incredibly stupid to actually be of worth to any tank looking to do these instance.

I prefer to have a more set based chart
CM/Prae: AF
WP: AF gear with level 45+ jewelry and ideally GC weapon
AK: AF gear with some WP gear where possible, rest same as WP
Ifrit: similar to WP maybe some lower
Garuda: AK/WP gear and at least GC weapon
Titan: AK/DL primal weapon

Of course my standards are pretty high and skill can easily trash half that list, and most people do actually have that much skill.

doing an ilvl55 dungeon and require ilvl70 gear.... what kind of logic is this..
