Tank HP Requirements For Endgame DF Content

This actually made me laugh. Beyond this being incredibly stupid to actually be of worth to any tank looking to do these instance.

I prefer to have a more set based chart
CM/Prae: AF
WP: AF gear with level 45+ jewelry and ideally GC weapon
AK: AF gear with some WP gear where possible, rest same as WP
Ifrit: similar to WP maybe some lower
Garuda: AK/WP gear and at least GC weapon
Titan: AK/DL primal weapon

Of course my standards are pretty high and skill can easily trash half that list, and most people do actually have that much skill.

Your standards make more sense the OP I'll give you that. The only issue I see is that you require a GC weapon for WP when you can't get your GC weapon until you clear AK.

When I say ideally I mean I prefer to see it. Of course I have had some really good fresh 50s in WP with only white weapons.

Therefore the HP Requirements for TANKS in Duty Finder groups is as follows:
Wanderers Palace: 4.6k HP

I recently hit 4519HP and guess what I have: Ifrit weapon, iLv 55 head, AF chest (iLv55), AF hand (iLv50), AK belt (iLv60), WP pants (iLv55), AF boots (iLv50), WP shield (iLv55), Militia neck (iLv55), 4 iLv49 crafted accessories (I tried twice and the only ones I could get are either these NQ ones of the iLv70 accessories in these slots). I also have 30VIT.

So to get 4600, I will probably need to have 2 more iLv55 pieces. That will leave me with 4 pieces of gear at iLv50/49.

You want tanks to have 9/13 of their gear at or over what WP drops, in order to do WP. That is what you're saying.

With full Darklight on the left and full HQ Rose Gold on the right, +1 Holy Shield and Curtana, my PLD is at like 5.4-5.6k HP if I remember? (cant get on cause of maint). Im in full ilvl 70 and the Rose Gold is better than darklight once melded. Full ilvl 90 still probably wouldn't get a PLD into 7k, let alone 8k. The HP numbers you are posting are just wild and arbitrary figures posted out of frustration. You should try and find and FC to play with instead of using the DF if you're having such issues. FWIW i've not had that many issues with DF at all myself....

HP values for PLD and WAR are very different, however, want you really want is an ilvl minimum to join via DF. This feature is coming in 2.1, so just hold out a little longer.

I'm not actually sure how much HP you can get. Though my FC has a AF2 Head, Chest, Relic WAR and he is only in the low 7s. We also have a AF2 Head, Chest, Relic PLD that is in the mid 5s and is actually slightly less squishy than the WAR. I've never seen a PLD touch 6k. I see how you would get there with mostly 90 gear though.

The OP is either-

1. Trolling.
2. Can't clear anything outside his FC as they have been carrying him for the entire game.

In any case, I still stand by the statement that you don't need anything better than 60 gear for Titan.

Ive actually seen a PLD with 6.4k HP(buffed in group) prolly full allagan/AF2 gear(didn't get a chance to examine) .

actually AF2 has yet to come out....AF1 is the gear before DK armor.....but this guy beat titan with 5.6k hp fully DK armor and garudas wep

funny thing is all dps died and at the end it took about a min and a half to 2 mins to finish him off with just me as a PLD and an amazing SCH.

just gotta know what your doing.

A PLD in my linkshell actually has 6.5k with about 9 ilv90 pieces. Full ilv90 pieces would probably get you just to 7k health in a group.
