Ok you all need to fix the way market boards work. Make it like final fantasy XI. ya I know the trolls be like this isn't ffxi, however with the ability to post 40 items at a time and see everyone else's current prices you get undercut by 100k 200k 300k sometimes. It is so dumb. At least in ffxi you cud only see the last 10 sales and nobody elses current prices which at least stabilized the markets. Can't sell a thing unless u sit in front of your retainer all day undercutting the other 5000 ppl undercutting you. Please address this issue asap.

While im at it. Its to easy to high quality items as well. It is to easy for people to level crafting as they can just turn in items bought off markets and get triple exp from the leve quest or double triple exp from the ones you can turn in 3 times for one leve. I had to grind my exp the ol fashion way in 1.0 now everyone is a master craftsman. And fates give way to much exp anyone can go 1-50 in a day can u say ffxi abyssea ruined the game time come on where is the curve. fix all this crap i like most of the game but this stuff needs to go.

You guys are idiots. That's how a free market works. Do you guys really believe that Wal Mart doesn't know what Target charges for any item that they both sell? Or vice versa? I haven't had any problems selling and I don't sit in front of my retainer all day. The market works exactly the way it is supposed to. If you don't like it, go play a different game.

Markets aren't crashing. In fact, at least on my server, prices have noticeably risen since the hotfix, which isn't surprising given how much additional gil it must have put in play.

No, it doesn't. There are laws limiting monopolies (which don't apply here; with the possible exception of camping limited spawns, which is not what's being complained about here, nobody has a monopoly on the FFXIV market) and the market prices in a few limited items are regulated but by and large, a merchant is free to set any price he thinks proper. Which is as it should be. Attempts by governments to control prices across the whole economy have...not ended well.

SOME markets are crashing as RMTs and their gil leave the system.

You have tons of people rushing to make money for "housing" right now. Most likely, the big push to flood the market and make quick cash will slow down and things will stabilize as people get lazy again.

Markets may be rising on some servers such as non legacy I cant speak for all legacy but in a world where most the population is alrdy capped the prices are dropping fast. Also it wouldn't be such a problem if they would at least get rid of leves letting people level in a day and or adjust the hq rates since with the right crafts everything can be hqed 100% without fail. And in real life nothing drops in price by 100s or thousands of dollars over the course of a day at a time. if it did gas prices wud be 99cents 1 day and 5 dollars the next. same goes for anything you may purchase. being able to post 40 items with 100% hq rate allows way to much supply into the game and with materia not breaking items upon failure like it did in 1.0 no items are breaking and being taken out of the market the demand is so low while the supply is to high. adjusting the market boards with a regulated auction house would stabilize this and or any other adjustments previously stated.
