Fates giving me terrible xp?

40k EXP at level 20-30? Why not start with a lvl50 character?
FATEs already give insane ammounts of EXP and are the worst thing SE did to party play, because, there is no party play at all.
So we end up with lots of clueless lvl50 chars.
The idea behind FATEs is good, but the rewards are too high.

Instead SE should increase EXP for normal party play and add lvl55+ mobs.

FATEs give a set amount of exp depending on the zone and what level you are.
In lower level areas you'll get around 4 - 6k exp. If you're in a party add on another 2k from the mobs.

The highest amount of exp you can get from one FATE is around 42k exp which is from Go, Go, Gorgimera. (level 50). It's also a boss FATE.

And this is why end game pugs for df,s are epic fail, cuz ppl have fated there way upto 50 with no clue about there class or how to work within a group, only thing they know is how to tag a mob!

Rofl. No it's not. I got to 50 on my BLM via FATEs went into AK and did the best in the dungeon, despite that being the first dungeon ever doing on a DPS. It's rather ignorant to assume that.

I don't think I saw mention of it, but don't forget the 50% armory bonus if you have a higher main class. Although I don't remember 40K, I do remember ~30K from Coeurl King and It's not Lupus.

At LVL 20 NO FATE is going to give more than 20k and that is with the 50% bonus of having a higher character. The next highest is in lvl 30 range and that's Cancer can get close to 30k with bonus and gold.

What you are getting OP is about right for your lvl especially if no high lvl characters to give you bonus xp.

Its not from the fate end bonus. You can get 40k pretty easy at that level from the contraband turn in Fate, I forget the location. It spawns a ton of guys and you just AOE everything for the 15mins and get crazy high combo chain exp. There are similar Fates in the other areas also.

No Contraband lasts the entire 15 minutes for you to get those chains, unless it's the middle of the night in off hours and you're fairly alone. You're usually lucky to get 5 minutes. And most jobs don't have an AoE blitz to spam.

I know what you are saying, but it never happens. There is always somebody who turns in stuff and ends it way early. If ever get full 15 (or full time in any like it) count yourself lucky.
