I sort of agree with the OP here. This is not about the animation lock, positioning, timing, ect. More or less, once the cast bar has completed the damage should be applied. The extra 3-5 seconds of animation delay after the castbar completes is unnecessary. The main issue is that the LB is consumed, but the damage is not always applied due to death during the animation. If the cast should take a certain amount of time, it should be included in the cast time.
