This thread isn't about 90k. Stop posting about 90k in this thread. You're just detracting from the actual problem.
There is a legitimate problem with lag, caused by bad routers, but the solution to it is not screaming at SE.

This problem has nothing to do with server capacity. If it were, every single person on your server would be experiencing this lag. They aren't.
I have the same lag as you guys do. I connect through a VPN to get around the router causing the problem and it goes away.
You can do a trace route to the server and see exactly where the problem is occurring.

Let's try one last analogy: You're complaining to a mechanic that your ride down a dirt road full of holes is too bumpy and demanding that they fix it. Is it the mechanic's job to go fix the road? Do you understand how retarded you sound, trying to demand SE fix something they have no control over?

I'm done here. Keep crying, you may as well cancel your sub because SE can't fix your problem.
I can't explain basic business concepts to a donkey, so I'm also done here. Thanks for entertaining me though.

    CANCELING MY SUBSCRIPTION

Within the last (2) weeks the lag has become unbearable.... I literally had no lag while leveling to 50, and for a long time in my 50s, it wasn't until one of these random "maintenance" that I began experiencing what people have been complaining about... The (2-3) second pauses etc... This is unacceptable if your going to be asking for a subscription, I will unfortunately be canceling my subscription if the lag has not been cleared up by next month.. I have been enjoying this game very much, as you can see I have (2) level 50's with relic weapons, but when trying to play and help my FC out all these lag spikes are ruining this game... I have taken the time to post my specs to prove I know what i'm doing and it's not my end.

I realize this is not about 90k but maybe you did not know that many players with 90k issues suffer the same lag issue that leads to 90k, and many of us know there is a routing issue that is causing this, what makes you think we have not tried VPN? many had tried and even with those ping boosting programs, none had helped, congrats to you that you got yours fixed by spending money (or free) with VPN, while many others don't have to, please stop bashing people that come here to "petition" because they can't get a straight answer from SE here or from their support center.

You have the same problem as I do. Every single player in southern California has this problem. You can fix it by using a VPN on the east coast. SE can't fix it.

For someone who said that he was "done here," you still are posting quite a lot.

No matter how much SE is or is not to blame, people don't want to subscribe to a game where they have to deal with constant lag. It was SE's choice to only have servers in Montreal serve their entire Western audience.

It has nothing to do with the location SE chose. They did absolutely nothing wrong. This could have happened to servers located anywhere.

The problem is that most of you have no idea what you're posting about and are detracting attention from the actual problem. Instead of scream and crying about how you're going to cancel your subscription, contact the people who are causing the problem and tell them to fix it.

You're basically complaining 'I pay $15 a month for this gym membership, but the road to the gym is too hard to navigate! I demand you move the gym to another city so I can reach it more easily!'
The correct course of action isn't to whine to the gym, it's to complain to the people in charge of maintaining the roads.
If you had any idea how stupid your complaint to SE is, you would feel like an idiot.

I pop in every week to see how this is going. I haven't started raiding seriously yet, namely because of this issue. First time I have had these issues in a game for over ten years. Other games play fine (Defiance, Guild Wars 2, Secret World--and that's overseas server).

It's not my end, that's for sure.

Stop using metaphors, you just confuse the issue. People don't want to pay $15/month for a laggy game when there are thousands of other games that don't have this problem (and don't charge subscription fees). When the issue is isolated to just this game, it's SE's problem, not ours, regardless of fault.

This isn't an issue about who is at fault. The game has this terrible lag. It doesn't matter where it comes from but as long as its here, it isn't worth paying for. Are there other people who can fix this problem other than SE? Perhaps. But that doesn't mean that we can't voice our concerns to SE.

This thread is basically the equivalent of complaining to your postal service that your mail is taking too long to arrive, while the reason it's taking too long is that the mailman has to travel over dirt roads that are full of pot holes and flooded in places. The postal service has no control over the quality of the roads that the mailman has to take to reach you.

This is exactly what's happening. On your way from your ISP to the servers, your connection is going through a poor quality router. Neither parties have control over this.
It's not impossible for them to fix it. They chose servers in a very bad location (if it's not a server issue) with known issues with other games. Google it. I have no problem with any other MMO, some I didn't mention earlier are games like World of Tanks, Eve all I can play fine.

They can set up different data center with a few other servers. Their options are to find a way to do that, or suffer people leaving. They can weigh the costs. . It's unacceptable. It's their product, and right now it's not very good (it kind of reminds me of the graphics issues SWTOR had, it's a huge deal breaker).
