That's a very accurate assessment. Unfortunately, people throw out very sensationalized information (i.e. "War sucks") and out of context, which leads into more misinformation.

Hell, a few days ago during a HM Ifrit run, I was told by a PLD that WARs couldn't tank Ifrit and that "They would be eaten alive". It's getting ridiculous.

My first primal fight was as a fresh 50 WAR in AF and white jewelry and weapon. One shot Ifrit like it was a joke. Some people are ridiculous.

Quite honestly, I don't want to be more OP than paladins. I want to be on equal footing and stick my foot up the asses of people who looked down on us when we outskill these paladins.

Although, I must admit, I am waiting for the day when a PLD tells me WARs are OP so i can be like "Nah, PLDs are just as strong, L2P."

Honestly i have no trouble as a warrior. And i get complimented alot by pallies in all primal fights. I often volunteer to tank just so pallies can get a break and never heard negativity i guess its just me x.x

Im sorry dont have time for BC yet since im geared for it just no late night groups on my server yet XD and i dont think ill have any problems there until what folks call the nightmare of Turn 4 i know my trole from watching guides and reading the information. so im confident in my abilities.

I have a feeling they'll put the %healing on defiance rather than wrath so it isn't as "hard" for healers and WARs to time their IB.

I'm excited to see how they do it!

Problem being by the time WAR is buffed I'll *hopefully* have my PLD geared so my WAR will actually be overgeared for content anyway. But still I'm glad the devs finally realised something needed to be done as I love the way WARs work

As I read it... I wouldn't be surprised to see them change Inner Beast to be an active version of Thrill of Battle.
Use Inner Beast, max HP goes up by the amount healed ... now you've prevented over-healing and it can be used as a pro-active instead of re-active ability.
It also sounds like our Stun might be reduced to 20s CD, and remain off-GCD to make it more-usable.
