Blacklisting Players!

With so many real-money-trade pc's spamming the chat log with "buy cheap gil" or "sell your gil", it's a real nuisance having to constantly bring up my blacklist to add these pc's to it. It's even more annoying to have to fully type out their name's, especially when their names look like this -> "Quahdfs Thresdfsfmk".

If it's not already planned, and it seems like it could be easily implemented, could it be possible to simply right click the players name in the chat log(just like how you can send a tell or friend request) and click "Blacklist" to easily and quickly blacklist these players?

I agree, but would like to add that currently I have 176 people blacklisted (and that's ONLY gil dealers) The problem is there are only 200 slots on my blacklist, so what do we do when we reach our b/l capacity? Am I going to have to suffer hearing the chimes or constantly seeing the scrolling msgs? Please address this, or frickin' start banning these ppl accounts. I see them ALL the time, (their characters just standing there, lvl 1) If I can find them, I KNOW SE can!

You can probably remove most of those on your blacklist. I only keep like the last 20 or so and purge them every week -- they are normally banned by that point.

So far I've never gotten a repeat goldseller tell.

The development team has been working on the implementation of the right click to blacklist feature, and is planning to implement it in patch 2.1.

I have a macro set up for the ones that /tell me. /blist add <r> only works for the last person that sent a tell. Will give you a conformation to add to blist. As for the shouts I have another chat tab that has /shout and /yell turned off. Hope this helps.
