Greetings,
I apologize for the long wait for a response on this.
The development team has been working on the implementation of the right click to blacklist feature, and is planning to implement it in patch 2.1.

Are you also increasing the number of people we can Blacklist?
Maybe on your server, but I won't feel safe until I see "Deleted" in my blacklist. Out of 100 accounts on my BList, only 6 have been deleted. I don't understand why it takes so long for this to happen. All you need is one person per server to travel from city zone to city zone plus the city gate zones and just instant ban the same accounts we'd be Blacklisting with the new right click feature. You could hire someone at minimum wage to do this.
Those are mostly just the gil sellers deleting their characters to make new ones after enough people have blacklisted them.Maybe on your server, but I won't feel safe until I see "Deleted" in my blacklist. Yes, because there aren't 3 dungeons BEFORE level 20... nope not at all. Limiting the number of shouts, or flat disabling it doesn't stop the core problem... it doesn't even limit it, because the same botters doing chat spam are just going to bot/grind a character to whatever level and then spam repeatedly once they reach that level. The best way to fix the problem is to eliminate (or close to it) the market for gold sellers to exist in the first place. Get rid of people's need (or the perceived need) to buy money from these guys and they will go away all on their own. Other games have done this successfully, so don't even begin to say it isn't possible.
Except that I've seen the same bots pop around Ul'dah for the last week. Sorry to anyone who might have had their account hacked because they went to a gil seller site, or chose their cat's name as their password... But If your character was hacked, you're just best off making a new character and not have to worry about the fact that half the server has probably had to blacklist you.
Wow we have to wait another month to have a reasonable tool to fight GIL spammers? Seriously?
