Thank you so much for the confirmation.Greetings,
While we do not have any plans to increase the cap for the maximum number of free company members, in the future we will be implementing a free company alliance feature that will allow you to connect with friendly free companies. We'll keep you updated on this feature!
I'm not even sure how this suggestion could work. In order to see a linkshell chat you would have to be in that linkshell. Linkshells have a maximum capacity of 128. Only 128 people at most would be able to see everything in those linkshell chats. This solves nothing and makes the problem worse.

We could kick out 200+ and still have too many waiting to get in. If you'd read the thread like you claim, you would've known this. We have over 800 people, currently in two FCs.How so?
It's quite clear to me that I grasped the purpose of this thread. I don't need to read all 275+ posts to understand what it's about.
If the message you're trying to send to me is "there are companies at this limit" that's fine, but you could say that without being so condescending.
Frankly, I think any company that big ought to kick out a member or hundred, so that other free companies might actually have players to recruit.
Sounds like someone's mad they don't have hundreds of people waiting to be let into their FC.How so?

skimmed through, so sorry if someone already said it.
I'm gonna go with "PS3 Limitations"
The go to excuse that SE used for FFXI whenever they were to lazy to do something was "PS2 Limitations"
Just get ready for them to start saying it, it'll start happening just about any time now, if it hasn't already.

It's not hard to grasp the purpose of this thread. But instead of actually bothering to look at what some people might have discussed in the 28 pages leading up to your post, you just decided to blather out some uninformed drivel that had been adressed 26 pages ago. When someone dared point out that maybe you shouldn't talk about things you neither know anything about or apparently care to find out about, you claim they're being condescending. How so?

Well, what exactly do you expect? You have given us ample reason to be so, and absolutely no reason to be anything else.
Since you're clearly not going to bother to actually go back through the pages and read anything, let me sum it up for you. The members in our two FC's are from a community called the Something Awful Forums, and we're generally called goons. Desptie you thinking it's not possible our main FC has 512 members, and each and everyone has logged in at least once the last week. Our second FC is at around 360 members now, since we pruned away about 60 people yesterday. There are some people in this FC that haven't logged in in the last week, but the majority has. So to put it simply, we're way over the FC limit. The whole "we're all from one community" part also explains why your suggestion that we get rid of some members so other FC's can recruit people is so silly.
(Had to split post because of 1000 characters limitation. Twitter forums?)
You know, yes, i might just be a little irked that there is literally almost nobody on the server without a free company to invite to one due to the existence of such a huge company that it controls a measurable percentage of a single server's population.
I don't want "hundreds of people" in a company- I'm only interested in having enough people to share in various activities with- which is hard to do with the lack of actual available candidates.
Sorry you see it that way, but I'm not "blathering out drivel." I see a dev post (as I follow the dev tracker, and my reaciton is based on such. I don't read every post of every single thread of every single section of this forum, I'm sorry, i don't have time for that. That being said, my understanding of the purpose of the thread and the subject at hand was accurate, and I'd appriciate not being chatised when my post was 1) relevant to the thread and 2) based on an accurate understanding of its purpose. It's not hard to grasp the purpose of this thread. Finally: You don't have to make multiple posts for the character limit. You can edit your post and add more later.
Given the way you're treating me in this thread, it seems like an apt description.and we're generally called goons.
That coment wasn't meant entirely seriously. As illustrated from my original comment, i was indeed very suprised to hear that anyone actually was hitting this limit. The whole "we're all from one community" part also explains why your suggestion that we get rid of some members so other FC's can recruit people is so silly.

We don't invite from the general population of the server. Again, another thing that was addressed in this thread.
Please stop posing in this thread.
