    This.

Let's say you use Energy Drain. It's got a tad delay on it to check if it hits before it applies its effects. So you use it, it remembers you have one aetherflow stack, and when it executes, it will give you your MP and HP and set your Aetherflow to zero stacks.

Now, using Aetherflow itself is immediate, it sets your Aetherflow stacks to 3, as well as the MP gain.

However, what happens if you pop Aetherflow in the middle of the Energy Drain attack? Well, you start the drain, it remembers you have one stack, aetherflow executes giving you 3 stacks, and then the drain finishes and sets you to zero stacks [the one minus one].

So the way to avoid it is very simple--don't use Aetherflow until Energy Drain has completed.

This actually makes sense. It is possible that I use Aetherflow too soon. Thanks

Best info ever. And I can see where this would happen to me as I often burn off charges with drain before using flow.
