I love this game

Content doesn't need to come out too fast. Hell, we got all those crafting jobs to catch up on. Not to mention those of us that have RL jobs need a chance to keep up. I'd say content every 3 or 4 months is just fine.

Just because some people don't want to play the whole game doesn't mean we need new content every month.

I still have many things to do in this game and am thoroughly enjoying it. I see absolutely no need to rush any new content at this point with so much still to do.

I'm in the same boat as you, I feel like I got so much to do. Although I've been only playing like twice a week for an hour.
But a lot of players are coming from 1.0 where they might have capped a lot of things already, so I can see where they might be coming from. Just gotta be patient, the game only released a short time ago.

Not everyone enjoys leveling alts.. or even crafting..

My 43 LNC disagrees. And if you have no use for alts maybe you've picked up the wrong game, because cross-skills.

Growing up playing FF5 & 6 I never would of imagined where we are today.

I think we need another thread with accusations that people who burn to level 50 at a casual, yet somewhat aggressive pace are "not enjoying the game" or "playing it wrong." C'mon dude, we all have our own way of enjoying the game. Mine just happens to be struggling to find an intelligent / competent FC, combining rampant alcoholism with terrible movies on Netflix, and writing list posts on video game forums while waiting for the duty finder to pop.

Seriously though -- while you may have had the unique and wonderful opportunity to find gaming bliss in slapping trees for lumber and talking about sci-fi with your free company, some of us are better equipped to beat the piss out of primals in hard modes until our eyes bleed.

I work a full-time job and I'd be thrilled if new content came out every month.

Why does everyone need a chance to "keep up"? This is an MMO. When you pigeonhole everyone into the same content, you get something like WotLK/Cata/MoP. IE, boring, shallow, and perpetually bleeding subs.

aren't really that big of a deal for most classes? On a system designed to lock you out of almost everything since using a job is almost mandatory with how much power you gain from job crystals, and the other two classes you cross only in a few cases have abilities that are any more than a 'nice to have' sort of thing?
