I love this game

I really love this game so far,
I mean, its a lot of fun, I have a great FC, and were not all trying to power level to 50 right away to get all our gear.

I mean you guys plvl to 50, then complain there's not enough content.
It's ridiculous. Honestly.

Me and my FC are all kind of working on crafting together as well as dungeons.
That way we don't just burn through the game. I mean anygame you can race through, but you don't get to enjoy everything.

I really love playing, I'm not a casual, I play everyday.

I don't think it's really an SE problem, as it is more of a personal problem on the part of the gamers, who forgot how to enjoy a game.

I remember reading the FF11 forums, and it was a lot like this too, probably a lot of the same people, everyone wants everything they want Now, like spoiled children.

We are coming up on two months since the game released. So far.. thats less than 1 level per day for the 'casual' player. Even casuals are at 50 right now, and bored because of lack of content.

Not everyone enjoys leveling alts.. or even crafting..

Content doesn't need to come out too fast. Hell, we got all those crafting jobs to catch up on. Not to mention those of us that have RL jobs need a chance to keep up. I'd say content every 3 or 4 months is just fine.

Just because some people don't want to play the whole game doesn't mean we need new content every month.

I still have many things to do in this game and am thoroughly enjoying it. I see absolutely no need to rush any new content at this point with so much still to do.

I'm in the same boat as you, I feel like I got so much to do. Although I've been only playing like twice a week for an hour.
But a lot of players are coming from 1.0 where they might have capped a lot of things already, so I can see where they might be coming from. Just gotta be patient, the game only released a short time ago.

I work a full-time job and I'd be thrilled if new content came out every month.

Why does everyone need a chance to "keep up"? This is an MMO. When you pigeonhole everyone into the same content, you get something like WotLK/Cata/MoP. IE, boring, shallow, and perpetually bleeding subs.

Um, no, because there's multiple classes to level, in case you didn't notice.

You don't need to level that much for you cross-class abilities. For my BRD the only thing that would've taken a decent amount of time was getting LNC to 34 (except it didn't since I had LNC at 29 from 1.0).

Just because some people enjoy leveling alts for variety doesn't mean everyone, or even the majority, does. I'm pretty happy just playing BRD. If I played MNK sure that'd be a bit different, but not enough to make me level to 50 again, and grind tomes again to hurt mobs in a slightly different way.

My 43 LNC disagrees. And if you have no use for alts maybe you've picked up the wrong game, because cross-skills.

aren't really that big of a deal for most classes? On a system designed to lock you out of almost everything since using a job is almost mandatory with how much power you gain from job crystals, and the other two classes you cross only in a few cases have abilities that are any more than a 'nice to have' sort of thing?
