People do tend to have fun in this game without any of those ideas existing right now.

Irrelevant to your post, but the current FF14 player base that is having "fun" is a minority. Most the people who tried to give a shit stopped caring. Just check any forum where a newb asks if the game is worth playing. The answer is always "no", "check back after patch 1.xx".

Now we're just going off of the opinions of who's left that still care.
Once the majority of people who left try to come back and see that FF14 is still underachieving, they'll move on for good.

SE really just needs to add enough fun that people will actually spread the word that the game is actually pretty fun. Until that happens, FF14 will remain a blue waffle.

SE has to choose between...

- keep making the current fanbase happy

or

- make everything right and have a lot of new players


or they can do it both. I bet these nerds not going anywhere even if they add jumping, voice overs and other features to the game. or even if they want to leave, they have nowhere to go but FFXI and SE will has new players more than people who leave

I notice alot of the complainers make statements like this, the "other MMO" statements. What these MMOs have that FFXIV don't. Well go play that mmo then, let people who enjoy this for what it is do just that and enjoy it for what it is. If ffxiv isn't offering you the gaming experience you seek then leave. If so many people leave the game fails so be it, at least the people who were playing something they enjoyed got to enjoy it well it was here instead of playing some rehash of " something every other mmo" offers.
