No, it's slightly different.

Depends on the piece, but it's generally something like different color, an extra pattern or symbol, etc.

Im not sure what they were thinking, but yes, at least the parts of BLM AF2 that i have seen and my wife has gotten are the SAME MODEL as AF1... not even a color palette swap. Other AF2 is indeed a different design/color palette.

For purely aesthetic reasons, its vanya because you can dye it. My robe of casting is currently pink for breast cancer awareness month. Towards the end of the month it will be orange for halloween!

Vanya is better because it doesn't look like crap and I believe you can dye it.

Also it comes with a hat.

You lose Def and MDef if you use Vanya, right? How importat is that while taking hits?

Also, I'm looking at the HQ Version of Robe + Hat vs DL Cowl and seems that you would be 13 points behind on mind (and maxed out). Doesn't this affect your heals in a bad way?
I'm curious to see a set of Vanya HQ + Materia vs DL...if anyone has one to share >_>
