If you spend any amount of time in the game, you shouldn't have any issues with gil as a DoM /DoW. Once you have all of your darklight gear and your relic, you have no other use for Philosophy tomes. Crafters buy the Philo items for 30-40k each. It takes 15 minutes to run WP now and thats 4/5ths of 1 item, basically 32000 gil every 15 minutes. Please stop crying and invest a LITTLE bit of time.
You know, that is what crafters have to do too, after all.
Same here, but let's all remember this game main focus is and will always be PvE.
The moment they even think about shiftin' to PvP focus, I'm out. I do not like 4v4 PvP BS unless we're talking LoL in that case, 5, which actually takes my thinking cap to play. Not mindlessly wait 2.5 to use my next skill or spam heal. Then get chewed out because I don't have top l33t tard gear or you got entitled assnips everytime. Watch and see though, people will be naming and shaming and egoboosting so hard, it always happens...BUT, then Game needs more variety, PvP is the way to go with some Elitist to come. Prepare yourselves. More Toxicity are coming.
Frontlines seem pretty fun from what I've heard.
If it's anything like Fantasy Earth Zero, SE stole my heart.
Most MMO's don't know how to balance PvE and PvP.
It's mostly in Duty Finder where you get that and then cussed out at and that is mostly end-game. If you take a look at my level...I'm not even there yet... <__>; I had just 1 bad exp.
If everyone was actually putting on thy thinking caps, you'd either run stuff with friends/LS/FC.
Nope, pure masochism just to put yourself up in DF.
I'm not against adding PvP so chill out lol. Just get prepared for more assholes and mega elites. It always happens.

How many people do you think are currently grinding end game <.<. way less than 15%.
I'm tired of people throwing the words "main focus" around and acting all relieved or whatever because they think PvP isn't going to be anything significant. They're expecting a fair number of peopel to be participating. While it's not going to be a Pvp game first, it's going to be a part of the game and not just a minigame/sideshow.
skill and talent in PvP is irrelevant to PvE, it requires totally different strategy and behavior. also, the current anonymity of the PvP system will keep over-the-top elitism down (It's not like there isn't already ridiculous elitism in PvE, so why haven't you already quit?)
30k-40k each? I wish, price is at 20k atm and dropping like a brick. Crafted items still cost the same though. 15 mins to run WP? Curious, most PuGs I run = 40-60 mins. AK is still by far the fastest so I just run that instead. If you spend any amount of time in the game, you shouldn't have any issues with gil as a DoM /DoW. I simply cannot wait to get gouged by crafters in order to PvP at the best performance (waiting on weekly caps to reset). It's going to be so much fun!
p.s. after running pretty much only AK for over 100 times now, let's just say my enthusiasm for dungeon runs is running LOW. Infact, I hate it and dread doing more.

Well, if you are doing nothing but AK, you have more problems than just gil income. Although, even with doing nothing but AK, if you have done it as much as you say - you should have a spare... 4250 tomes?
Breaking it down - 80 x 100 = 8000 tomes of philosophy, roughly 3750 to full Darklight = left over 4250 tomes. Divide that by 125 and you have 34 crafting items that you can sell. Even at 20k each that is 680k.
Of course we both know you are exaggerating, but you see my point. It's almost a requirement to do 8 AK's a week to myth cap, which is now 800 tomes a week, at 20k an item you are still getting roughly 128k a week of income. Hardly something to complain about while getting your AF2.
What is it with this community and being deathly afraid of PvP? Its 2013. MMOs have PvP. Like....all of them
You and everyone else who replied to me completely missed the point.
15% of people will give a crap about PVP ever.
100% of people will eventually finish the storyline (sooner, rather than later since that was YoshiP's intention when designing the faceroll leveling in this game) , hit 50 and then have nothing to do except grind tokens or start over.
Full Dark light is a little over 5000 tomes with accessories also I know and have run with people that have ran CM/AK enough times to get over 20k tomes me being one of them....Well, if you are doing nothing but AK, you have more problems than just gil income.
