Wait wait WAIT, hold on a moment....I can't earn gear by participating in PvP and instead have to buy it from a crafter who are already hyper rich? How am I (as a battle class/non-crafter) going to afford this junk? More and more I hear about this, the less I like.

We get essentially a WoW arena which I might add was really depised by most players yet I have to be super rich to afford to actually do well in it?

They say they don't want to force PvEers to PvP which is great but how is it acceptable that PvPers have to PvE to get competive gear then? That's not cool.
