    just upset that it was in the LoPX to be implemented and now wants to petition it not be put in even though it had enough support already to be in development. Heck I would like thread but it wont stop me from playing FFXIV, but I have many upon many of friends that would not play or quit because for one of the reasons being the game did not have jumping. Sure dumb reason but its a massive amount of gamer's not just in this forum/FFXIV community that would play it if they added jumping.

    The only valid reason people asked for it previously was to scale unnecessary obstacles placed by terrain deformations and "rocks" hanging out in weird places that you suddenly stop on even though its only a inch high.

    These issues were resolved with 1.17. And even most cliffs can now be jumped down from. Theres still a few more I'd like to see made to be jumped from but it should be a context sensitive jump that has no button press ala zelda.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.
