Dear SE: We do not care if FFXIV is a MMO. We want it to be a Final Fantasy.

I'd also like some sort skills combined system, maybe addition to the battle regimen (or wherever they go with this), an example would be @ the very start of FF9 you have Steiner ask Vivi if Vivi can cast Magic onto his Blade so he can do Fire Blade, its combined spell. You also see it in the XIV CGI against the Morbol where the mage casts fire onto the Archers arrows.

Also missing is ultimate skills though I think this is coming, in XI you had 2hr's but in other games you'd have like Limit Breaks or Overdrives etc. (Which I personally prefer). Also allow us to have a few.

This is why they don't give much of a shit about individual people's editorials on how they think the game should be. The player base doesn't know what it wants, and no individual represents the community. (So saying 'we' in the title doesnt make sense, a lot of people want MMO first, FF second.)

LOL. Please. Every Final Fantasy has atleast one feature that is new and unique to gaming as a whole and then afterwards relegated to Final Fantasy History.

FFXIII had the Paradigm Shift. FF7 had Materia, FF8 had GF Junctioning,

Right now FFXIV's only claim to fame in this field was the Armoury(Good) and Guildleves(Bad) but Guildleves many people consider it a bit of a failure.

I agree on the experimental, I dont think the Armoury system was much of it because it is technically present within many of the other games (ff8 you can use about any skill/magic on any character, same for ff10 in the EU version and 12)

I want something slick like FFXIII's rather than the mickey-mouse hands styles of old. Anyone who isn't a FF player (and remember, they want to attract a good audience to the game) isn't likely to appreciate it either.

The classic UI would be a choice just like they are going to have the choice of a MouseKB and Gamepad ui, It would just be a skin for the Gamepad UI basically.
