You guys really think finding players for a dungeon is like searching for specific stuff on ebay. They will always be there waiting with the same options and correct class for u. That 3 or 7 special ppl that many other ppl are searching for.

You shouldn't get so defensive about people critiquing your system that will never be implemented, its a sign of bad character. Also if you knew anything about why match making systems are implemented in any game you'd know that it has nothing to do with making your run the way you want it, it was introduced in games to make it quick to get into an instance. The limit being added (ilvl implementation) is going to be exactly how it is in every other game which is the minimum amount of gear needed to complete the instance (usually the ilvl closest rounding down to the ilvl gear that drops).
The way it was intended. Crafters, Grand Company, the dungeons that DONT have requirements. AKA ALL of them except Amdap. Keep.
Why would SE have level 50 and 55 craft gear, easy to make and pay for, 5-10k, on the market, provide you with a seal only costing weapon, if they had no intention for you to use them?
If your a caster? Buy some militia gear, make it yourself, have a friend make it. Do the Quests to become an officer, buy GC gear and weapon. Thats how.
You not being able enter AK with shit for gear, should not be other players problem. We worked on our gear. So can you.
Edit: oh And don't forget praet and CM give 100 philo and now WP as well. So by the time you finish story, praet and CM you have 200. Run WP twice, and you can already afford 1 piece of ilvl 70.

I'm sorry, I realize my attitude sucks. This better?
Ways to get gear:
1) Level 47-50 Dungeons (minus AK) have gear, good enough to set you up for AK.
2) Philo and myth acquired from Wanderer's Palace, Praet, CM provide you with a way to farm ilvl 70 DL gear or Crafting mats for ilvl70 Crafted gear.
3) Doing the grand company missions (as of the recently changed quest) to supply yourself with a weapon and a few pieces of armor depending on class and faction.
4) Base level crafted gear either made by yourself or other players / friends. (i.e. Militia gear)
Ways to improve Duty Finder:
1) Add a cross server friend list that lets you que up together.
2) Allow groups to reque with who ever is in the group while in the dungeon.
3) Add a gear level requirement on AK and HM Garuda / HM Titan (already being implemented)
4) Add more instance servers. (already being implemented)
5) Increase Philo and Myth drops. (Already being implemented)

How about this one??

This will ensure you pair with the same type of player personality and someone who won't argue because they agree with you...
Casual/Hardcore is not a good differentiator, because it's subjective and nobody can draw out a set of definition for what it really means in the DF.
I would propose just a box "match similar gear level" instead of casual/hardcore, if you really want such options.
6) Local server only matching -- the LFG board scheduled to be implemented in 2.1 (IIRC)Ways to improve Duty Finder:
1) Add a cross server friend list that lets you que up together.
2) Allow groups to reque with who ever is in the group while in the dungeon.
3) Add a gear level requirement on AK and HM Garuda / HM Titan (already being implemented)
4) Add more instance servers. (already being implemented)
5) Increase Philo and Myth drops. (Already being implemented)
The only problem with the design and concept of the DF is that it forces everyone into the same mold. Providing other channels for efficient grouping will homogenize the population in the DF, hence fixing a lot of the "problems" that people are experiencing.

― Ernest Hemingway
My issue with the casual/hardcore thing would be how they would tell who is casual and who is "hardcore".
I just don't get how the game would magically know who would qualify as what.
They wouldn't tell who is casual and hardcore, you would. If you check both boxes you are saying you are hardcore or casual. If you just check hardcore you are saying you only want to run with people who also checked hardcore. SE wouldn't be calculating that, it would be based on what people check in the DF. So it would que you with people who checked the same stuff as you.
