Please keep Tonberry forums clean. Your FC is based on a different server, so your recruitment should stay in your dedicated server forums.
If every FC was posting a recruitment thread on every server forums, it would become a mess.

If people are willing to transfer to a particular server, they will do their own FC research, there is no need to make a recruitment thread here for an FC based on another server.

Maybe people have the right to post recruitment thread in any forum they want, but if the hundreds of FC had the same great idea, it will become difficult for people to figure out what is at the right place and what is not.
Some threads have thousands of views, so maybe the forums are used more than you believe they are? And even if they were not, does it make it right to show a lack of respect (by impacting on their quality of life) towards this minority? Probably not.

Anyway, some people will understand my argument, some wont. I am not here to tell you what to do, I just wanted to raise a concern. I have said what I had to say, you are free to do whatever you want

I'm mocking you, not setting up a debate position. I don't require credibility to make a joke. Nor do I even require personal credibility to set-up an argument (especially over this topic lmao), the argument itself is the only merit required and I chose satire (a specific form of irony) as my delivery mechanism.

Maybe, I'd worry for their reading comprehension though. Regardless, when hundreds of FC's begin doing that, let me know; until then you teeter precariously on the edge of a slippery slope. Also individuals making threads just for themselves - which there are comparatively more of than foreign FC threads - would cause far more clutter. Why not go be an angry cat lady (points for pun?) at them?

Besides increasing the counter, views don't make for more clutter. Posts are the progenitors of clutter (apparently); and even though this is the busiest JP English sub-forum, it's still pitifully slow. So slow, I'm entertaining myself via you.

Jee whiz, I dunno what world you come from, but I certainly don't view this as a 'lack of respect' towards a minority (what minority was it that needed defending again?). I find it a tad annoying, but purely on the basis of disliking what they're selling (their philosophy) and the salesman.

Oh lord that's such a massive false equivalence, completely ignores context of the defence. Rockets and walnuts kind of deal here. But I'll indulge for selfish reasons.

Littering is almost unequivocally considered wrong from (I assume) our perspective. Posting in another forum during transfer times is clearly more contentious (not just me as you can see), right and wrong a little more murky. The defence stands due to the context it was used in and moral grey area that permeates it (seriously can't even believe this was an issue XD).

Finally, you insinuated (I may have misread this, only thing I'm not 100% sure about, so I'm giving you an out on this), that if one person would do this, others would follow suit and we'd be swimming in badly organised forums. This is where I took issue with your half-cocked argument, it's a slippery slope, like Wet n' Wild slippery slope.

This was an off-the-cuff comment. So I'll let you have it. Though the phrase "if nothing else" means "it was good for something" not "that is its purpose". Though I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on the account of it being an Idiom (colloquial metaphor).

Funnily, when someone is told they are not do something, the word should is mentioned, quite often. They are almost entirely synonymous in that context. I'll explain, the fundamental meaning of;

"You mustn't do that"

"You shouldn't do that"

Are both phrases directed at controlling behaviour (aka telling someone what to do). There is ultimately no fundamental difference besides the strength of the words (so you were less of an ass than you could've been :P). You even could've said;

"I recommend you don't post here"

It's the same thing. Merely the strength of the intent is altered, but the intent never changes. Essentially, should/must/recommend/whatever set the intensity not the intention. "Do not do that" is the intention, which is pretty damn clear in your post.

Semantics won't bail you out of that.
