You very well may be right. I would absolutely not be OK with that. There is not enough in the game right now to hold many people for 5 months. I would probably be logging in less and less, leveling crafting classes and whatnot.

I disagree here. There is quite a bit to do. You have the option of leveling up multiple classes, gearing them out, running coil which has yet to be beaten by anyone in the world (granted it is bugged atm), helping your friends, crafting, building your wealth and mastering multiple jobs (after leveling and gearing them). Granted, I'd love to see some new content, but the game just came out not too long ago. They still have a lot to fix before they can release a huge content patch.

You can't gear out multiple classes. Lock-outs and Token caps prevent that.

The only content after Coil is leveling crafting classes and 2.1 is adding no new content for those who have finished with Coil.

What I don't understand is why Crystal Tower even exists? Coil Turns 1-4 are fine with DL gear, so why they feel the need to add a new set in between I don't know.

This is my thought also, It's not like Coil is only being done by the elite of the elite at the moment. There are pure pugs forming in Toll that are clearing parts of it already. If we add another 2 months to that, we'll likely see pugs to turn 4 before 2.1 even hits. Which the main features of is hard mode dungeons (ilvl65 or 70 prehaps?) and Crystal Tower (ilvl 80?). While they'll be useful for alt jobs, main jobs will quite literally have nothing to gain and no reason to take part in either content. 4 months is going to be way too late for that level of content, and then what, another 4 months until coil is expanded? Looking at potentially 8 months until the next tier of content. That is a *very* long time in this MMO climate.

You're right, we can run AK, CM, WP and Praetorium... oh and coil too, for about 1 hour per week! Yea, that's totally gonna keep us busy and interested until December
