Considering everything else has been delayed because of the need to upgrade the servers, you can probably assume the patch will be delayed also.

I don't remember anything being delayed according to server issues. People couldn't play because of server issues but that didn't stop SE from releasing the game :P

Well for one, server transfers were suppose to be a few weeks after launch but we didnt get them till a few weeks after the server updates instead

2.1 December. Live Letters in Oct/Nov/Dec.

Yoshi already said 2.1 before xmas. Nothing in the letter suggests a delay.

Many people waited to resub or just plain left till this patch hits. I'm not saying good or bad just putting it out there. Maybe if they don't add anymore content and focus on fixing the server congestion glitches and errors that are plaguing this server system then they can get back to releasing 2.1 patch. That's not to say I want to wait. Just part of the bus I suppose.

Speaking as a 1.0 player, even if I haven't completely maxed out all of my jobs the idea of waiting for late December is a very long wait. I happen to love what they've done for the most part with 2.0 but I can easily see even fans of the game(including myself) running out of patience waiting for all the things 2.1 is supposed to offer. Hopefully they can at least offer it piecemeal even if they can't unload the entire thing for us in full in the next month or so.

If it comes late Nov or Dec that gives me time to cap archer, weaver, alchemist, botany, mining, and cooking.

This is a joke... Every other MMO receives monthly content updates, hence the monthly subscription. The he worded it made it sound as if we won't have anything until December at least. So we're paying £27/$45 for one piece of content? You can almost buy a brand new game for that much...
