I love the night sky. How the stars twinkle. The lighting effects in this game are amazing in so many places. How the sunlight filters through the trees in Gridania, the lights of Ul'dah at night from a distance, and especially how your character model reflects light. It's all just lovely.

Lots of great things mentioned already! I love the scenery, and the sky and the atmospherics. I love that you can insta-port into duty finder from anywhere! I love that npcs actually look fairly natural. One even walked up to me and pointed at me and told me to not make any trouble! It took me a moment to realize it was an npc!!!

The sunrays? Oh yeah. i love that. In central shroud it was dusk and the sky was an orange and the rays were breaking through the tree leaves and moving as i did, as it would in real life, my hats off to them, It was quite beautiful.

Agreed. They could have done sprites all over the place but its amazing the level of detail and craftmanship once you just stop and smell the roses. Fishing was actually an eye opening experience. I was sitting there fishing in multiple places and i noticed things such as the float place i keep talking about not only was there a waterfall but there were leaves coming down and falling to the patio i was on, i very briefly forgot it was a game, i enjoyed it alot. Then again im a stickler for details.
