get your relic + 1 first seriously I don't know why you would get anything else before it, the only comparable item is a turn 5 drop why is this even a decision. get your relic +1 first then aim for your AF2 chest and head if your so keen on looking cosmetic things.

You want the honest answer to all this? It doesn't matter either way.

The gains you get from Relic+1 are so close to be within the RNG range of heals with the base relic that we are talking about peanuts here. Factor in the RNG range of damage and RNG rotation of boss skills, and we are barely moving the needle. Then look at crit rate and instance of overheal vs. minimum HP threshold and it gets even less.

If everything can be predicted then fine tuning to the single digit would make sense, but this game has so much random flux in EVERYTHING that you can theorycraft all day to get almost no benefit in-game.

Experience trumps gear if we are talking about Relic+1 vs. Relic+AF2(2).
