foe works with bard dots.... its been provenAccording to Testing posted to Reddit- Foe Requiem Testing, Venomous Bite/Windbite/Flame Arrow are all actually applied as Physical damage.
This can be tested by casting them on the Soldiers in turn4 that are immune to physical damage.
According to all testing so far, Foe Req only works with Blm and SMN attacks, regardless of what tooltips say.

I don't have the link but trust me it does not work with Windbite or Venomous Bite. There was a post where the guy applied it both ways and watched the damage tick down and there was nothing. This reduces elemental damage resistance which is a buff for BLM and SUMM using elementals. I wish it did but that would be too good and even more people would be bitching about us BARDS being over-powered. Does work great throwing up Foe with Battle voice right before Nails come up on Ifrit though.

Wow, really? Just use it after the tank pulls.. Another group nearby? Position yourself better.

B-but it's fun aggroing a Dullahan all the way from the very last floor of AK by using the teleporter from the first boss with Foe Requiem on.

Any rough explanations on how wide the aggro radius / song distance is? I know the specifications state 20 yards (same as other songs), but I suppose I'm terrible at distance measuring. Maybe I'll head out into the field solo and see what all I can aggro and roughly what distance it is when I'm next able to log in.

Thank you for the links and actually attempting to test it instead of adding troll posts like Mr. Fauxpas.
On the note of actual reasoning on it not working with the bards own skills, they might have considered it at one point but felt it was boosting the Bards damage so decided to take it away from us from working with the skills. It would be nice if it did but the raging about the bard is bad enough as it is now with the current ability setup.
