According to Testing posted to Reddit- Foe Requiem Testing, Venomous Bite/Windbite/Flame Arrow are all actually applied as Physical damage.
This can be tested by casting them on the Soldiers in turn4 that are immune to physical damage.

According to all testing so far, Foe Req only works with Blm and SMN attacks, regardless of what tooltips say.

That's fantastic info. Not many in turn five right now, so that's great confirmation!

It's been proven not to, you mean.

The tooltip is misleading/wrong. It increases magic damage. i.e.: Damage dealt by casters. It doesn't affect any Tank/Melee/BRD abilities.

Thank you for the links and actually attempting to test it instead of adding troll posts like Mr. Fauxpas.

On the note of actual reasoning on it not working with the bards own skills, they might have considered it at one point but felt it was boosting the Bards damage so decided to take it away from us from working with the skills. It would be nice if it did but the raging about the bard is bad enough as it is now with the current ability setup.
