    The situations you describe are easier content. I'm more looking for situations in coil as that is where I am progressing currently. Let's look at the turns:

    Turn 1: Can't really use at all unless it's procced and you're preparing for a huge hit.
    Turn 2: Depends on group comp, but if your going balanced 2phy 2magi not really gonna help but, it could help on ADS if people are gettting hit(which usually results in 1-hit)
    Turn 3: lol.
    Turn 4: This is actually where I could see it being useful after getting off 1 medica II.
    Turn 5: not revealing any info but I can see it used here too.

    Having to pop shroud everytime I want to use two or three Cure III is pretty ridiculous. It has it's uses no doubt but, maybe I wasn't making myself clear enough about CureIII. I feel CureIII isn't exactly horrible because of it's mechanics but rather it's traits. Our mana management is soley dependent on a few things: Shroud of Saints, Cure II procs, Mage Ballad, Potions.. and that's about it(besides obviously not overcuring and using Divine Seal efficently).


    I have no idea where most people on the forums or the healer section are on Turn's but my guess is probably on Turn 2 or 4 as only around 11-16(might be more now after reset) are at Turn 5 on my server (Behemeoth-Nonlegacy).

    I agree as far as range, really wish they would increase it, the bubble is so tiny, when I first got it I tried using it multiple times to heal tank/melee, would never hit them all so I pretty much never use it, end up having to just run in and medica, defeating purpose of Cure III being on target and not centered on you.

    I crit hit my entire party of 4 today in AK for almost 10k in total healing. For 502mp. It comes in really nice for Titan stacks too when party members are all close to death after the slam attack. I'm seeing each person heal for twice what medica will heal for. Granted the situations the spell can be used for are uncommon in normal raid situations but it's hardly a waste to keep it on your hotbar.

    They should replace this spell , rework it or

    Change the overcure combo to either or also reduce/remove cure III mana cost.
    At least there would be a reason to use it. Because there is zero reason to do so now. Every fight is balanced around medica/succor healing.

    Due to the recent sch fix(major buff) whm deserve a cure3 "fix" too.

    Why do people say this is situational? In what mystical situation did this spell become useful? Maybe in the coil because as it stands that's the only stuff I haven't done. There's -never- been another time where I thought, gee sure glad I had cure 3 there. Too expensive, range is garbage, potency is bad.

    For those saying oh in Titan HM when he jumps, I say to you..good luck with anything but a well oiled team for that. Medica (pick one or two doesn't matter) has the range to guarentee the job gets done. I'm sorry, "Situational" doesn't apply here when there are other spells that you can use in that "situation" that do the job already just fine or better. A situational spell would have a situation where it would be the ideal choice. There is no such situation for this spell.

    It's the ideal choice when most of the party is stacked into a very small space, and you need a very large heal on them as soon as possible. Medica doesn't get the job done when people are too low, and Medica II, while it has a HoT blanket as a "protection" - is also inferior to being able to top everyone off with a single spell.

    The "situational" aspect is that you're rarely ever going to have more than 1-2 party members stacked on top of each other out of, well, situational situations.

    I only use Cure III if the tank is seriously low on HP and sh** is about to hit the fan and benediction isn't avail because I used it already so, OH MY OVERCURE IS RIGHT THERE. OKAY.

    I don't use it often though. It's completely useless if your mana is seriously low. Its ideal if you have crap load of mana to spare.

    It's great to use Cure III at one time... When it procs, and when you can use your divine seal with it. It's a wonderful "Oh shit button" as i like to call it.

    Yeah cure3 is bad because it is such pointless spell. There is not a single fight where you NEED to use it. Every fight can be done much easier with 20yard medica2 and 15 yard medica.

    It is balls compared medica 2. 700 potency 20yard vs 4 yard 550 potency. I have never been in situation where my targets would have been saved by cure 3 but would of died if i used medica or medica 2.

    Unless SE start making fights require cure 3(which would really screw over sch pts, so they are not going to do this) they need to remove this or change this spell.

    You can pretty much remove cure3 from your bar and heal every thing just as easily. Which makes it a failure of a spell.

    You also have to rely on others to make use of this spell which basically never works well for healing spells. E.g lightwell . Cure 3 is lightwell but worse lol. I would prefer lightwell over cure3 thats when you know this spell is a fail. The dps/healing lost by having everyone move to stack is not worth the extra instant healing especially for the mana cost.
